Ouroboros Farms is one of the largest commercial aquaponic farms in the U.S..  You can find our produce at our farm stand, online or at many local Bay Area restaurants.   We offer public and private tours of our farm, which is a unique educational opportunity for the whole family.  We also offer a full range of classes for everyone from beginners/hobbyists to commercial growers.

We are located in the Northern California coastside town of Half Moon Bay.
Come visit us and experience the future of food.

What is Aquaponics?

According to Merriam-Webster, aquaponics is "a system of growing plants in the water that has been used to cultivate aquatic organisms".

Aquaponic farming combines aquaculture (a system of growing fish ) with hydroponics (a system of growing plants without soil).

Here at Ouroboros Farms, we have perfected this growing system over many years to create one of the largest commercial aquaponic farms and educational facilities in the U.S..

The Aquaponic cycle is an extremely water-efficient, sustainable and chemical-free method of growing.
